There is no lift to LED success – unfortunately we all have to climb the stairs 

Contrary to general belief LED is not a quick fix as many local governments have come to realise or many try to convince y local government. The truth is that many ideals of local government that started off with enthusiasm only fall apart as the real demands of brutal competition and the tough world of and the need for a self re-enforcing sustainable LED were experienced. LED is an incremental chunk-by-chunk exciting journey. There are no short cuts! If someone do not recognise the fundamental building blocks that systematically drive and sustain LED strategies, efforts will only be patchwork with no real success. Just too many municipalities have learnt this lesson.
